OCADU Illustration Portfolio 2017

Hey there!
This was my first year applying to OCADU illustration. I haven't received a response from them yet but since I decided to accept Sheridan Illustration's Offer, I didn't want to wait from a response. I will include it here when I do though. Thanks for looking! c:

Personal Critique, Portfolio info and Advice
The interviews went okay; I met with two professors but I was near the end of the day. To say the least, they didn't show much interest with grading it since they were clearly tired. I was distressed and looked too much into their reactions. If you are caught in this section, know that it's not your fault and that they won't mark you less just because of their attitude. Help them out by being responsive, being charismatic and explaining your work without them having to do too much (this is especially the case since I had credit notes with short paragraphs).
As for the portfolio, I could have include more variety of subjects in my art (still life objects, landscapes, anthropomorphism or etc... instead of mainly people). I believe that including my process work for multiple pieces was an asset since they like seeing where you started and the final together.
I formatted my portfolio section into 11 x 17" sized pages. Since I was applying to Sheridan's animation and illustration programs as well, I had to make use of a efficient way to switch my portfolios with one portfolio book. Additionally, I like the way a digitally designed layout looks and didn't have to panic about wrongly placed credit notes. I would suggest this method if you have the option to print your portfolio book's size and anxious about layout and presentation.
